This screening happened at roughly the same time as the Standard Bank exhibition. I was interested in concurrently showing the same work in two different spaces. The first, using a 'high end' art access point (a gallery) that caters for individuals who intentionally go to view art and are confronted by it, as well as a second access point, namely an unintended audience where people might not expect to see what they see on a particular day as they go about their business. The screen is situated outside Museum Africa, Newtown, Johannesburg, South Africa. The screenings appeared at periodic times throughout the day and night. What I liked about that was sometimes the terrain might have been busy and bustling and sometimes it would be very dark and desolate and play out to possibly no one.
